Setup & care

More water for bigger plants and longer stretches away. Plant Pal Pro hangs on the side of the pot you already own and keeps water moving to your plant between refills.

How it works: Fill the larger clear reservoir inside the house. A wicking rope runs from the water into the soil, and capillary action draws water along the rope as the soil dries. No pump, no batteries, no app.

How long a fill lasts: up to 20 days, depending on your plant, pot, room and season. Check the water level once a week and top it up when it's low.

Good for: bigger pots, thirsty plants like ferns, peace lilies and large monsteras, and trips away from home. Not for succulents or cacti, which need to dry out between waterings.

Classic or Pro? Pro holds about twice the days of the Classic. If your plant is small or you're rarely away, the Classic (up to 10 days of watering) is plenty.

Pick your colors: a teal or black roof, and Sprout in the green you like best.

Setup: about five minutes, no tools. The setup guide is in the box, and the video and rope depths for dozens of plants are on our Setup Guide page.
